3.1-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude quake hit Davao Occidental on Sunday, Feb. 23. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 8:42 a.m., had its epicenter 115 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of focus of 1 kilometer. Robredo’s mother passes away

(Eagle News)–Vice President Leni Robredo’s mother Sally Gerona  passed away on Saturday, Feb. 22. Robredo confirmed her mother’s death in a Facebook post. She did not say the cause of death.
