Okay so I know a lot of people follow me on here for my cinematography and filmmaking thoughts and whatnot, so I’m thinking I might start sharing more of my photography and bts set stuff on here too? Idk - if you guys care for that, I’ll keep up posting it.

This was a Gelato cart I found in Melbourne earlier this year, shot on 35mm film, on Ilford XP2 Super400 film stock. The camera I use for film photography is a Nikon Fm2, which is completely mechanical except for the light meter (what you use to check the exposure, aka how light/dark the image is). The camera was discontinued in 2001, but you can find pretty good quality ones online, which is where I found mine :)

Hello MTV and welcome to my crib. I call this joint the FORTRESS of SOLITUDE bc as an alien I feel pretty alone some times, and fortresses are pretty cool I guess… Check out these sick ice spikes that my dead space dad hooked me up with in 07′, yeah pretty neat right. And I got all sorts of dope alien things in the back like the bottle city of kandor and the phantom zone projector – probably shouldn’t show you that last one though… but the point is you won’t catch this kind of equipment in the Batcave, - no shade tho bats, no shade,

The funny thing is that it’s literally just Clark talking to himself

The real fortress of solitude was the feeling Clark got when they rejected his application to be on MTV Cribs

Question:

There is no Snyder Cut. It only exists as a script. Hell we’re better off without him. Besides his ideas just sucked

Answer:

You’re mistaken.

There is a Snyder cut - there are actually several Synder cuts technically, because they fully shot all of Zack’s vision and script, and the film was in post-production for several months before Whedon was brought in. A nearly complete cut was fully assembled. Multiple people have seen this cut, and believe it is better than the theatrical version, including Damon Lindelof (showrunner for Watchmen, The Leftovers), Jason Mamoa who made a whole instagram post about Zack showing him the full Snyder cut, and storyboard artist & Flashpoint Paradox director Jay Olivia. The New York Times also just printed that Andrea Berloff (Straight Outta Compton screenwriter) and Allan Heinberg (Wonder Woman screenwriter) saw it too. The list goes on.

The score was also completed, as confirmed by Junkie XL. He wrote and recorded his entire score.

The bottom line is, they had a fully picture-locked version of his cut, that just had some incomplete vfx shots and partial sound mixing. Warner Brothers could easily spend a couple more million on polishing the Snyder cut, and release it on HBO Max, and a tonne of people would pay to see it - it would make a profit. So it is viable.

While I do believe it would be better than the theatrical cut, the reason why the Snyder cut should be released actually goes way beyond just the idea of “one thing is better than the other thing, etc etc”. The way very talented people who worked on Justice League (Zack Snyder, Chris Terrio, Fabien Wagner, Junkie XL, etc.) were fired by Joss Whedon and replaced with his own team was in bad taste. If changes really were necessary, the original team should have done them - the director should have done them. The cut isn’t for you, it’s for the people who worked on it and for the fans who wanted a satisfying conclusion to the original trilogy.

INT. BATCAVE - NIGHT

The Batcave looks like a regular room the size of the Arrowcave. In fact, this is the same set as the Arrowcave, they just changed the set dressings. There is no Batmobile in this Batcave. This is because Batman is away driving it somewhere (we will never see Batman in this series).

JON KENT, fourteen years old, played by a 26 year old man with smouldering eyes and sexily ripped jeans, walks up to IAN WAYNE, also fourteen, played by a 24 year old.

Ian is playing Fortnite on the Batcomputer.

JON: Ian, we can’t stay down here all night, we need to be off chasing Cathy, my best friend who I thought I could just be friends with, but now I’m hetero and in love with her. Also her family just died and now she’s living with us as my step sister.

IAN: I don’t want to go play with Cathy, Jonathan! She’s a girl and she can’t understand my inherent darkness after being raised by my mother, White Talia Al Ghul.

JON: Come on, Damian, you have to follow in Batman’s shadow and be friends with me, a Super, even though we have no charisma, personality, or reason to be friends in this adaptation.

IAN: [speaking with caucasity] Don’t call me Damian, Damian is my slave name. I’m IAN.

He stands up suddenly, causing the prop table the batcomputer was on to disassemble and fall to pieces.

JON: Why can’t you be normal!

IAN: I can’t be normal because I’m supposed to have four brothers and a sister to be mean to, but they’re not in this continuity! I am the first Robin! It’s made me weird! I’m a weirdo. I don’t fit in - and I don’t want to fit in. Have you ever seen me without my bo staff**? That’s weird!

**Ian will not use a sword in this adaptation because budget could not afford it.

Remember how there was one (1) bit of Junkie XL’s original Justice League score that somehow made it into the JL marketing, and it was fantastic?! That accompanied by this speech from Lois Lane, gives me chills everytime I hear it, and I’ll never forget the overwhelming feeling of disappointment I had in the theatre when I realised they’d not only completely scrapped Junkie’s score for the Elfman one, but Joss cut out Lois Lane’s speech and wrote completely out of character nonsense for her instead.

Anyways… The sexism, the character assassination, the lack of taste in Joss Whedon’s theatrical version of Justice League… I hope we do get the Snyder cut just so I can witness a Justice League movie with great visuals and Amy Adams serving monologues to this score:

All the Snyder Cut news has me feeling a thousand emotions, but the most devastating of which is me getting whiplash back to 2016-2017 me who was excited for Justice League.

The hope that we could see the actual Justice League movie as it was intended, with Junkie XL on the score, Fabien Wagner’s cinematography, Ben Affleck back as Batman, AMY ADAMS back as Lois Lane (and not having to spew Joss’s dialogue that was virtually character assassination), Henry back as Superman, all the Justice League characters interacting,,

For the last two years, every memory I’ve had associated with Justice League was disappointing or maddening, but I’m falling back into my “Hope for a satisfying conclusion to the Snyder trilogy” bullshit

what's your favorite episode of titans so far?

Answer:

Conner Kent episode!!! It’s like, top ten episodes in a comic book show for me, ugh I loved everything about it from the writing to the camerawork to the way they nailed all the Superfam/metropolis-y aspects

Question:

thoughts on dceu deathstroke costume vs titans deathstroke costume?

Answer:

I think they’re both amazing. Personally, am more of a fan of dceu Deathstroke’s costume, purely because it looks like it’s made straightup out of metal - it looks lethal. That being said, there are too many holes in it, you’d be able to get a knife into his body pretty easily 💁‍♀️ Titans’ Deathstroke suit is more practical in that regard, but I don’t love that the helmet doesn’t go all the way around his head, or that the black side of his mask has an eye hole. Still! I think they’re both fantastic

Remember when Gareth Evans (The Raid) was going to direct a Deathstroke movie with this Deathstroke 😔 and then he was going to be the antagonist in Ben Affleck’s Batman movie 😔 and he’d be a main character in the Legion of Doom movie alongside Lex Luthor and Black Manta 😔
