Southwell

I visited Southwell one weekend to visit the craft fairs there, one being in the Minster and the other being in the Methodist Church.

Bodium Castle

So, when it was really hot in August I went off to explore Bodiam Castle.

I visited the Small Breeds Farm and Owl Centre in Herefordshire and found that the small breeds were not so small compared to me. I met small Llamas, goats and cows, most were about 1 metre high. There were of course rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets of that size.

I did however make a friend, the owl above called Casper. Casper liked being stroked and so would perch on the fence and not on the perch provided. I of course wanted a picture with him and so I sat on on his perch seeing as he wasn’t using it. As you can see above, Casper is not quite sure who or what I am, whether I’m food or a predator.

Hello all! A while ago I visited the National Botanic Garden of Wales in Llanarthne. It is a really beautiful place to visit, if you have the chance have a look you will find lots of wonderful flowers. Above you can see me in the Great Glasshouse which has flowers from Australia, Chile and South Africa among other places.

This lovely purple flower was one of many I found within the Glasshouse, unfortunately I have no idea what it is. I found it on the East side near the entrance there.

One of pictures is the Japanese Garden which won a gold medal and Best in Show at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2001,

I personally liked the house the best but that was because we didn’t have time to see it in detail so we missed a lot of the plants.

I loved looking at all the different flowers and there was some bits that I missed having a look at. Hopefully I will go back there some day to complete it.

Hello all! My name is Patchy, an intrepid explorer traveling from the centre of London to the top of Ben Lawers in Scotland to the National Botanic Gardens in Wales (pictured). I am a total of 12 years old brought as a present in a box with a diary. Originally I am a Newton’s Law bear and remained in the bottom of a pile of other similarly sized teddies the first few years of my existence. That is until I was given a name, Patchy, due to the patch on my left side and while visiting Wales someone took a photo of me and so a tradition was born.

And this is where we are now. It has been decided that all my travels should be documented, with photos of course and updated as time goes on.

So sit back and enjoy my exploits as I continue a new chapter of my adventures.
